Spiritual Life
Crossroad was founded in 1883 out of faith in God by the Reformed Church in the United States.
Today, we still value spirituality and its importance to the health and well-being of the children and families we serve and our staff members.
We respect our clients' diverse personal beliefs, religious choices, and spiritual needs and teach them to respect individuality and diversity. We plan special activities and events yearly to celebrate religious holidays and observances.
Our Chaplain, The Rev. Christina Ryan Perkins, makes religious life opportunities available to each child through worship in our chapel, small group activities, and Bible study. Pastor Christina also provides emotional and spiritual support to help staff members process difficult job or personal situations.
